Gear Ratios:

You will see in the right side of the window a column for each gear.

Enter a ratio for every gear installed on the vehicle.

The Final Drive is automatically copied from the Final Drive input to each gear. In the Gear Ratio chart it can be changed for each gear if necessary.

As the gear ratios are entered the overall ratio (gear ratio multiplied by final drive) is computed and displayed. The tire size is factored in and the minimum speed and top speed for each gear is displayed.

Redline upshift engine speed is also calculated. This is the speed the engine will be turning if an upshift from the previous gear is made at maximum engine speed. In this example the redline upshift engine speed for second gear is the engine speed at 34.38 MPH, the maximum speed for first gear.
